Our opening ​adventure takes you off the beaten track to experience local life first-hand with buffalo rice farming, bamboo rafting, jungle waterfalls, hidden temples, and hill tribe traditions while resting at our bamboo jungle lodge and rural farmstay.

Day 1

  • Pick up from your Chiang Mai Hotel by Toyota Fortuner 4x4 (7-8am)

  • Departure from Chiang Mai to Mae Wang

  • Visit Local Thai farmers in the rural area of Mae Win

  • Traditional buffalo rice farming

  • Trek to secret jungle waterfall to relax and swim (2hr trek)

  • Cooking and sharing meals with  the local people

  • Overnight at Bamboo Jungle Lodge with private waterfall

Day 2

  • Breakfast with home-grown coffee

  • Trek to off-grid Karen hill tribe village (2 hr trek)

  • Trek to Mae Sa Pok waterfall with local picnic (2hr Trek)

  • Cook dinner with the local people

  • Optional evening walk through rice fields

  • Bonfire at rural farmstay

Day 3

  • Local morning market

  • Monks' morning alms round

  • Off-road to Hidden Temple

  • Elephants' Traditional Tribal Life (no riding)

  • Bamboo Rafting

  • Return to Chiang Mai (5-6pm)

Includes water, meals, accomodations, activities, guides, vehicles and gas. Excludes souvenirs, alcohol and other personal spending. Pricing varies according to group size. For example:

The Deep Diver

3 Nights / 4 Days

During your deep dive into Thai culture we'll visit Thailand's tallest mountain, looping around the mountains back to Chiang Mai while engaging with elephants amongst the local communities and exploring secret waterfalls and hidden temples...

Day 1 

  • Pick up from your Chiang Mai Hotel by Toyota Fortuner 4x4 (7-8am)

  • Drive to Doi Inthanon National Park

  • Visit Mae Ya Waterfall,

  • Continue to the highest point of Thailand (2,565m above sea level)

  • Visit King & Queen Pagodas

  • Hill tribe seasonal fruit market

  • Optional nature trekking (2hrs)

  • Overnight at Bamboo Jungle Lodge with private waterfall

 

Day 2

  • Breakfast with home-grown coffee

  • Off-road drive to Big Budhha with solitary monk of 30 years

  • Visit local Thai farmers in Mae Win village

  • Traditional buffalo rice farming

  • Trek to secret jungle waterfall trek to relax and swim (2hrs)

  • Cooking and sharing meals with local people

  • Overnight at local rural farmstay

Day 3

  • Elephants' Traditional Tribal Life (no riding)

  • Trek to off-grid, traditional Karen hill tribe village (2hrs)

  • Trek to Mae Sa Pok waterfall with local picnic (2hrs)

  • ATV Adventure 

  • Cooking and sharing meals with the local people

  • Optional evening walk through rice fields

  • Bonfire and overnight stay at local, rural farmstay

Day 4

  • Drive to Hidden Temple

  • Bamboo Rafting

  • Return to Chiang Mai (4-5pm)

Day 3

  • Breakfast with home-grown coffee

  • Drive to Doi Inthanon National Park

  • Jungle trekking to Pha Dok Siew waterfall (1,000m above sea level)

  • Hit the highest Spot of Thailand, 2,565m above sea level

  • Visit King & Queen Pagodas

  • Drive through the mountains to Mae Jam

  • Take a dip at Huey Sai Luang Waterfall along the way

  • Overnight stay at the famous Ban Ba Bong Piang rice terraces

Day 4

  • Set off for Mae Hong Son

  • Visit many original Karen, Long-Neck, Hmong hill tribe village (optional boat trip)

  • Explore traditional agriculture practices and produce

  • Visit Doi Kong Mu temple with Burmese architecture

  • Seasonal walking street market

  • Overnight at Fern Resort, Mae Hong Son

Day 5

  • Explore Mae Hong Son local day market

  • Take in Jabo View Point

  • Run along the border of Thailand & Myanmar

  • Seek out Lhahu Hill Tribe village

  • Discover Lod Cave

  • Overnight at Peacocks De Pai

Day 6

  • Explore Pai Canyon

  • Cross Pai's bamboo bridge

  • Shoot arrows in a Chinese village

  • Photoshoot at Yun Lai viewpoint

  • Visit Pai Town Walking Street

  • Overnight in Pai at Peacocks De Pai

Day 7

  • Soak in Pong Dueat Hot Spring

  • White water rafting in the Mae Taeng River

  • Climb to Doi Suthep temple or relax at Huay Tung Tao

  • Return to hotel in Chiang Mai
